 "In concluding this chapter let me say a word of thanks to the Lord, the source of every gift who has called us and made us experience our brotherhood together and gave us light for the good of the Order". With these words of thanks, Fr Saverio Cannistrà concluded the 90th Chapter of the Discalced Carmelites at Fatima which began on April 17.
At the end of the afternoon sessions in which the Assembly approved the Chapter proposals, the operative proposals and the Chapter document "Para Vos Nací", and the Chapter message, Fr General thanked everyone for their work, availability and success in both the preparation and development of the Chapter. In the first place he remembered his predecessor as Superior General, Fr Luis Gamboa Aróstegui, and the definitors for the work done for the Order over the last six years.
